The Car & Race History
The Ferrari F40 GTE was the full GT racing evolution of Ferrari's legendary road car, developed by Michelotto Automobili. Running in the BPR Global GT Series and at Le Mans throughout the mid-1990s, the F40 GTE combined a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V8 with a lightweight carbon-Kevlar body, delivering around 580–620 bhp in full race trim. The 1996 Le Mans 24 Hours entry represented one of the final competitive appearances of the model at the circuit, making it a defining piece of Ferrari GT motorsport history.

At 1:12, the finished model measures approximately 36–38 cm in length, allowing exceptional surface and mechanical detail. This is a craftsman-grade, multi-material short-run kit intended for experienced model builders. It requires careful preparation, pinning of white-metal joints, and patience with photo-etch work. No snap-fit construction: gluing, priming and painting are required throughout. Estimated build time for an experienced builder: 150–300+ hours.
Box & Parts Condition
This is a UK-held original stock example. As is standard with MFH collector kits, the outer box shows light shelf wear commensurate with age. All bags are sealed and parts are unstarted. Resin, photo-etch and white-metal components have been visually inspected and are complete. The decal sheet is flat with no yellowing noted.
